Renew Your Skin, Renew Your Confidence

We utilize evidence-informed microneedling science to stimulate collagen induction and restore your natural radiance in a sophisticated clinical setting.

The Science of Skin Renewal- Microneedling

Greetings, I am Nicole Frlais, a Registered Nurse holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing. With 15 years of clinical experience, I established The Skin Renewal Clinic to unite medical evidence with a refined aesthetic experience. Our practice centers on the science of microneedling—a methodical approach that respects your unique biology to achieve sophisticated, natural results. Microneedling utilizes a specialized device to create intentional, precise micro-channels in the skin. This process engages your body’s innate healing power, triggering the release of essential growth factors and platelets. By enhancing localized circulation and nutrient delivery, we encourage the regeneration of healthy new cells from within. As your skin heals, active fibroblasts begin producing fresh collagen and elastin—the vital proteins responsible for firmness and resilience. This controlled remodeling goes beyond surface-level aesthetics, and may strengthen your skin’s structural foundation for a smoother, more radiant complexion over time.

Key Benefits & Applications

Microneedling may result in:

• Softening fine lines and deep wrinkles

• Enhancing skin density and overall thickness

• Reducing hyperpigmentation and evening skin tone

• Addressing signs of premature aging

• Minimizing the appearance of scars and stretch marks

• Supporting hair restoration and treating UV damage

Because every complexion is unique, treatment protocols are personalized, and treatment result may vary. A professional consultation is the first step toward your renewal.

For best results, the evidence suggests a series of 3-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

What to Expect

Our Medical Microneedling face treatments include pre-treatment numbing cream, the treatment, and a soothing post-treatment mask.

Your comfort is important to us, all microneedling treatments include topical numbing cream.

Pre-Treatment

  • To ensure optimal results, please follow these guidelines:
  • Stop using retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin), chemical exfoliants, or active skincare 5–7 days before your visit.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least 48 hours prior.
  • Ensure a 2-week gap following any Botox or dermal filler injections.
  • If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex virus), please consult your physician regarding prophylactic antiviral therapy, as treatment can trigger an outbreak.

Post-Treatment Care

  • Your skin is vulnerable immediately following the procedure. Please adhere to the following:
  • Day of Treatment: No makeup, sunscreen, or skincare.
  • Use only the specific products recommended during your session. You may shower with tepid water, but avoid soap or active cleansers on the treated area.
  • Protection: Starting the next morning, apply mineral-based sunscreen daily. Avoid direct sun, hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours.
  • Long-term Care: Continue avoiding direct sun for 10–28 days; wear protective hats when outdoors. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer until fully healed.
  • Restricted Ingredients: Do not use retinoids or Vitamin A for 3–5 days. Avoid AHAs (like glycolic acid) and alcohol-based toners for 14 days.

Your Healing Journey

  • Day 1: Expect redness and mild swelling similar to a sunburn, typically subsiding within 24–48 hours.
  • Day 3: The skin may retain a light pink hue.
  • Days 4–6: Minimal swelling or light flaking may occur as old cells shed.
  •  Day 7+: Most clients appear fully healed, though internal tissue remodeling continues throughout your full 28-day skin cycle.
